Brawa 40090 H0 Steam Locomotive 65.10, DR, Ep. III - Prototypical Tank Locomotive with Digital Highlights
Are you looking for a steam locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn with a strong character that combines technical know-how and historical depth? With the Brawa 40090 in H0, the BR 65.10 (locomotive 65 1056) brings the authentic condition from 1965 to your layout - with original chimney, wet steam controller and numerous modern features, digitally prepared or equipped. A perfect choice for Era III fans with a love of detail.
A DR classic - tender locomotive for local traffic
The class 65.10 was developed in the early 1950s as part of the new construction programme of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR) in order to modernize the outdated locomotive fleet. Between 1954 and 1957, 88 locomotives were built - primarily for commuter services with frequent stops. Locomotive 65 1056 embodies the technical status from 1965, with conversion to wet steam control and the later DR-typical design of the mixing preheater.
Technically revised - model with many innovations
Brawa has redesigned numerous details of this H0 locomotive: from the kinematics of the trailing bogie to the engine position, which allows an extended driver's cab. Filigree components such as wheel hubs, control elements and smokebox door with sash locks impress with their precision and faithfulness to the prototype. An ideal locomotive for realistic operating scenes of the 1960s!
Digitally prepared - technology for the highest demands
Inside the locomotive, a drive installed in the boiler provides a clear view through the driver's cab - a clever solution for aesthetics and functionality. The locomotive is prepared for digital operation. Particularly noteworthy are the optional lighting effects such as engine lighting, flickering fire and switchable cab lighting (Digital EXTRA).
Compatibility & prototype fidelity on a scale of 1:87
The locomotive is compatible with all standard H0 track systems and is perfect for train compositions with DR passenger coaches of Era III. The digital interface (PluX22) allows flexible retrofitting, while the large number of prototypical add-on parts make it a real feast for the eyes - both when stationary and in operation.
