Brawa 50876 3er Set Schwerlastwagen RRym, DR, Ep.IV

About the model: The Brawa set of 3 consists of three DR heavy freight cars and is from Era IV. Each car was given a different road number and impresses with detailed paintwork and the finest printing. In addition, the wagons were equipped with extra spring assemblies and a multi-part brake system. The set was produced on a scale of 1:87 and has a length of 548.1 mm.

About the prototype: DB AG took over 1,044 of the 6-axle flat cars with low sides that the DR procured starting in 1952 and designated them as Samm 451. The cars were a specialty of the Eastern European railroads; these types of cars were not available in the West. Originally intended for transporting extra-heavy tracked vehicles for troop transports, the wagons were mainly used at the end of their life cycle as construction service wagons for transporting ballast, gravel or excavated material.
