Brawa 51317 H0 Beer wagon [P], K.P.E.V., Era I, Kloss & Foerster - Historic brand wagon from the Wilhelminian era
Are you looking for an authentic and visually striking freight car for your Era I layout? The Brawa 51317 K.P.E.V. beer car with advertising for Kloss & Foerster combines historically correct construction details with a nostalgic advertising effect - ideal for fans of classic country railroads and advertising car collectors.
Model with attention to historical detail
The car has a length over buffers of 110 mm and is equipped with close coupling kinematics according to NEM. Particularly striking: the finely reproduced board joints, the openwork car body supports and the precise printing and paintwork. Further technical highlights are the three-point bearing, extra axle bearing covers and signal holders, brake shoes at wheel level and a multi-part Kkg brake system. Road number: Erfurt 602 304.
The prototype - type A2 interlocking wagon as the basis for freight traffic
From 1911 onwards, tens of thousands of wagons were built for freight traffic on the state railroads according to model sheet A2. The type shown here became known as "G Kassel" and was used in particular for the transportation of sensitive or temperature-critical goods - such as beer. Many wagons were procured by private breweries as proprietary wagons and used by the state railroads - as in the case of Kloss & Foerster, a historic brewery based in Erfurt.
A beer wagon with advertising and history
Such beer wagons were not only used for transportation, but were also rolling advertising vehicles. The eye-catching lettering makes the wagon an eye-catcher in any Era I train set - whether as a single wagon, part of a brewery train or in mixed freight trains.
For historic trains in Länderbahn style
Combine the wagon with other Länderbahn freight wagons or with Prussian compartment wagons. Particularly harmonious with steam locomotives of the T3, T9 or P8 series - whether in branch line traffic or on the main line.
A must for fans of historic freight cars and beer culture
The Brawa 51317 is a finely detailed, historically authentic advertising wagon with a striking appearance. Ideal for model railroaders who want to show not only freight traffic but also advertising history on their layout.
