About the model: Brawa is supplying the model of the Gravita® class 261 diesel locomotive from Era VI. The 1:87 scale model, which is true to the era, shines with its fine paintwork and detailed printing. In addition to numerous visual highlights, the locomotive also impresses with several technical features, such as a built-in sound decoder and functional interior lighting. About the prototype: Although the vehicle only existed as a prototype and had not yet been extensively tested, DB Schenker opted for the Gravita® 10BB in its 2007 tender for 130 locomotives. The DB locomotives ordered have now been fully produced and delivered and are in use throughout Germany under the class designation BR 261.
