Busch 10006 Bahnhof "Rothenstadt"

Rothenstadt is a small town near Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. Rothenstadt station with its railroad buildings was originally on the Regensburg-Weiden line. After it was closed down, there was only one stop, which no longer exists today. The Rothenstadt station ensemble, consisting of the station and goods shed, was constructed according to old plans. The matching figure set for Era 1/2 is based on a historical photograph showing the original people at the station. The limited edition Rothenstadt station kit includes a reprint of the contemporary photograph.

The station building has an interesting layout, typical of railroad buildings in the region, with the higher part of the building at right angles to the platform, which also houses the staff accommodation, and the lower part of the building along the platform with the adjoining waiting room. The structure of the plastered walls is realistically depicted. The roof gable is made of real wood. The tiled roof with the large roof overhang has a prototypical look and feel. The rain gutters, downpipes and insulators for the power supply are filigree. There is a small wooden shed at the rear as an extension. The doors, transom windows and shutters are also made of real wood. The entrance door to the waiting room can be opened (opening 20 × 47 mm).

The figure set for Rothenstadt station was produced based on a contemporary photograph from era 1/2 and therefore depicts original people from the historical station environment. It includes a photographer with a plate camera on a wooden tripod, two women, a mother with child and a railroad official. The figures are detailed and ready-painted.

The Rothenstadt station set contains a reprint of the original photograph that served as the model for the station and the figure set.
