Busch 1214 Cucumbers & Tomatoes

Would you like to add realistic vegetable beds to the garden area of your model railroad layout?

With the Busch 1214 “Cucumbers & Tomatoes” set, you can create a lively and detailed garden scene on your model railroad layout. It’s the small plant details in particular that ensure vegetable beds, garden areas, or rural settings don’t look empty, but instead maintain a natural and lovingly designed atmosphere. This set is ideal for convincingly depicting vegetable gardening in your model layout.

The set includes six cucumber plants and six tomato plants. This allows you to immediately incorporate two typical garden plants into your scene and create a varied vegetable bed. The plants look particularly realistic, as both the leaf shapes and the fruits correspond to their full-size counterparts.

Bush Cucumbers & Tomatoes as a Detailed Kit

The set is designed as a kit and allows you to incorporate the plants seamlessly into your model landscape. The cucumber and tomato plants can be used to realistically complement small vegetable gardens, flower beds, or rural garden scenes.

The plants are approximately 25 mm tall. This makes them clearly visible and allows them to be used as subtle details within a garden scene. Especially when combined with other garden or landscape elements, they create a harmonious and lively effect.

Realistic Leaf Shapes and Fruits

A special feature of this set is the plants’ true-to-life design. Both the leaf shapes and the fruits correspond to their full-size counterparts. This creates a realistic impression that visibly enhances your model railroad layout.

Such details are especially important when depicting vegetable beds. The plants shouldn’t just look green; they should be clearly recognizable as cucumbers and tomatoes. With this bush set, you can achieve exactly this effect and create a small garden scene with high recognition value.

Tomato plants with spiral trellises

Each tomato plant comes with a spiral-shaped metal trellis. This detail makes the display particularly interesting, as trellises are a common feature of many tomato plants in real gardens. This makes the scene appear even more authentic and lovingly crafted.

The combination of plants, fruits, and trellises ensures that the garden bed doesn’t just look planted, but depicts a recognizable garden scene. This creates a small eye-catcher that invites viewers to take a closer look.
