Busch 1503 Bauernhaus aus Mennwangen Product Details
Small farmhouse from Mennwangen
This kit, based on a model from the village of Mennwangen in Baden-Württemberg, depicts a so-called "Seldnerhaus".
Located below the farmers in the village hierarchy, the Seldner earned their living with rented farming, but were dependent on additional wage labor with partly borrowed equipment.
The Seldner's buildings were simple and functional.
This two-storey small farmhouse has been reconstructed and can be viewed at the Neuhausen Open-Air Museum (www.freilichtmuseum-neuhausen.de).
The barn of the two-part building is made of real wood, just like the original, and the half-timbering of the attached living area with the filigree windows and the wooden staircase is already stained in wood color.
Prepared for the installation of interior lighting (lighting base 4280).
Assembly is particularly easy thanks to a sturdy, plug-in substructure, which is covered with the pre-cut and colored wooden parts.
All you need is a craft knife and model-making glue (e.g. Busch 7599).
