Busch 1951 Bahnhof "Rothenstadt" Product Details
The reception building has an interesting layout typical of railroad buildings in the region, with the higher part of the building at right angles to the platform, which also houses the staff accommodation, and the lower part of the building along the platform with the adjoining waiting room. The structure of the plastered walls is realistically depicted. The roof gable is made of real wood. The tiled roof with the large roof overhang has a prototypical look and feel. The rain gutters, downpipes and insulators for the power supply are filigree. There is a small wooden shed at the rear as an extension. The doors, lattice windows and shutters are also made of real wood. With wooden fence as platform barrier. All wooden elements are already painted.
The figure set for the Rothenstadt station was made according to a contemporary photograph from Era 1/2 and therefore depicts original people from the historic station environment. It includes a photographer with a plate camera on a wooden tripod, two women, a mother with child and a railroad official. The figures are detailed and ready-painted.
The Rothenstadt station set contains a reprint of the original photograph that served as the model for the station and the figure set.
