About the prototype: The special trailer HTS 90.04/T 088 of the VEB Kombinat "Fortschritt", Neustadt/Saxony, is a top-heavy tractor trailer with a nominal payload of 8-9 tons. It is mainly intended for the transportation and discharge of manure, but also for the transportation of non-free-flowing agricultural bulk goods such as sugar beet, chopped and unchopped green material, silage, etc. Depending on the intended use, the trailer can be fitted with the additional equipment wide spreader D 353 and hydraulically operated rear wall.
