The assembly system familiar from the W50 was also adopted for the L60. This meant that different body variants could be combined with a basic chassis. The superstructures familiar from the W50, such as three-way tipper, two-way tipper or heavy forage body, could also be used on the L60 chassis with 3200 mm wheelbase. Vehicles on the L60 with a three-way tipper body are still in use on farms in eastern Germany today.
