The much-optimized electromagnetic digital coupler known from the ESU Engineering Edition locomotives since the end of 2021 is now also available separately for retrofitting vehicles with NEM shafts.
Thanks to the integrated height adjustment, the coupler can be easily adapted to the traction unit intended for retrofitting. Two highly flexible cables with a two-pole plug (suitable for some ESU locomotives) are already soldered to the coupling.
The coupler couples and uncouples all standard U-couplers on the market (also made of magnetic material), the ESU and Roco® universal coupler as well as the Märklin® short coupler.
An ESU LokSound 5 or LokPilot 5 is strongly recommended for control, as these have the appropriate control mode.
