ESU 58813 LokSound 5 micro DCC/MM/SX/M4: Powerful sound decoder for highest sound quality and flexibility
The ESU 58813 LokSound 5 micro is a versatile and powerful sound decoder developed for model railroaders who want to equip their H0 gauge locomotives with high-quality sound and precise control. The decoder is equipped with a modern 32-bit processor and a large sound memory, which enables the playback of up to 10 sound channels in high hi-fi quality. Thanks to its compact design and the 11x15 mm speaker included, the decoder is also suitable for smaller locomotives without compromising on sound quality.
HiFi sound in perfection: 16-bit resolution and dynamic sound
The LokSound 5 micro DCC decoder can play up to 10 sound channels simultaneously, and each channel achieves excellent hi-fi sound quality thanks to 16-bit resolution and a sample rate of 31250 Hz. The dynamic sound range and the capacity reserves of the 128 Mbit sound memory ensure that every driving and braking sound as well as every additional function is reproduced with impressive clarity and depth. This brings locomotives to life with authentic engine and ambient sounds.
Improved engine load control for smooth driving behavior
The new engine load control of the LokSound 5 micro works with a clock frequency of up to 50 kHz and offers noise-optimized engine control. Thanks to this technology, even bell-type armature motors and gauge 1 motors with excellent low-speed characteristics can be controlled almost silently. This ensures smooth and precise operation even at slow speeds.
Flexible control and up to 32 switchable functions
The decoder supports up to 32 functions, which can be individually assigned using the unique ESU function mapping. This allows special functions such as light and sound effects to be adapted flexibly and as required. The decoder offers numerous outputs for controlling lighting and other functions, and RC servos and SUSI modules can also be connected.
Multi-protocol decoder and automatic operating mode detection
The ESU LokSound 5 micro is a genuine multi-protocol decoder and supports the four common data formats: DCC, Motorola, Selectrix and M4. In addition, registration with modern Märklin® command stations is automatic. The decoder automatically recognizes the operating mode (direct current or alternating current) and is therefore suitable for both analogue and digital layouts. This flexibility makes it ideal for model railroaders who want to use their locomotives in different systems.
Recommendation for model railroaders: The ESU 58813 LokSound 5 micro for maximum functionality and authentic sound
The ESU 58813 LokSound 5 micro is the perfect choice for all model railroaders who want to equip their H0 locomotives with a powerful sound decoder. With its high sound quality, flexible function assignment and the option of controlling additional modules, the LokSound 5 micro brings authentic sound and precise control to any model railway layout.
