Would you like to equip your locomotive with realistic sound and modern digital technology? The Piko 56547 Smart Sound Decoder XP 5.1 S was specially developed for models such as the BR 119 and offers extensive functions for particularly authentic operation on your H0 layout.
The decoder has a PluX16S or 8-pin interface and is supplied with a loudspeaker. This means that your locomotive can be quickly and easily equipped with high-quality sound effects.
Compatible with many digital systems
The SmartDecoder XP supports all common data formats, including DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola and basic mfx® capability. This means that the decoder can be used with many digital control centers.
Thanks to Plug & Play, registration with suitable command stations is automatic, making commissioning particularly quick and easy.
Precise motor control and flexible functions
The auto-adaptive motor control ensures particularly smooth driving characteristics and precise speed control. With extended function mapping, functions up to F68 can be assigned individually.
A decoder-internal bidirectional coupling also enables sound-dependent control of the motor and individual function outputs, resulting in particularly realistic operating sequences.
Impressive sound functions
The sound decoder offers impressive sound experiences via eight channels with a total duration of up to eight minutes. This allows numerous operating noises to be reproduced realistically.
The supplied loudspeaker ensures clear and powerful sound reproduction and enhances the acoustic effect of your locomotive.
Reliable operation and long service life
Innovative power management ensures trouble-free running and stable operation. At the same time, the temperature distribution in the decoder has been optimized, which contributes to a longer service life.
In addition, the decoder supports all common braking distance modes as well as ABC slow travel and the ABC automatic shuttle train function.
Updateable and versatile
The PIKO SmartDecoder XP is updateable and can be updated via the PSP 56415 programming device or the PSCwlan 55821. This keeps your decoder technically up to date at all times.
The decoder replaces the earlier sound decoder 56447 and offers a modern further development with extended functions.
