ESU 59810 LokPilot 5 micro DCC/MM/SX, 8-pin NEM652 (Spurweite N,TT und Z) Product Details
The LokPilot 5 micro is the smallest digital decoder from ESU so far. Thanks to the use of subminiature components, 8-layer printed circuit boards and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, it is so small with only 8.0 mm x 7.0 mm and a thickness of only 2.4 mm (at the capacitor: 2.9 mm) that it can also be accommodated in very small locomotives of nominal sizes Z, N or TT. Nevertheless, there has been no skimping on functionality and robustness compared to the larger versions. LokPilot 5 micro decoders are offered with all common interfaces.
Features:
- Multiprotocol decoder, 8-pin NEM652
- smallest digital decoder from ESU so far (dimensions: 8.0 mm long x 7.0 mm wide x 2.4 mm high; at the capacitor: 2.9 mm high)
- suitable for track gauges N, TT and Z
- it handles the data formats DCC as well as Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4
- in DCC format, 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2- and 4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions
- thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders register fully automatically with a suitable digital command station
- it masters all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom® the CV values can be read out on the main track with suitable command stations
- for command stations, which can only program CVs from 1-255, auxiliary registers are available
- Motorola® users benefit from up to 28 speed steps at 255 addresses
- three additional Motorola® addresses allow the triggering of 16 functions
- a built-in programming mode makes reprogramming possible even with the venerable Control Unit 6021
- the decoder recognizes the Märklin® brake sections as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system
- braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is also possible
- also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode
- ABC shuttle train automatic allows automatic shuttling between two stations
- the decoder can also be used on analog DC railroads
- it switches between operating modes fully automatically "on-the-fly" (usually nothing has to be set)
- 4 amplified function outputs with 180 mA output current each as well as two logic level outputs for servos or susi
- all important light functions are available
- brightness of each output separately adjustable
- the decoder masters the automatic pressing on and off during uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois® and Telex® couplers
- a variably adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation especially with bell armature motors - the typical "humming" is a thing of the past
- load control can now be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs
- unique "Autotune" function allows automatic tuning of the decoder to the motor
- the LokPilot 5 micro decoder delivers with up to 0.75A motor current enough juice for the intended application scenarios
- if desired, a PowerPack can be connected to bridge dirty track sections
- of course the motor output and the function outputs are protected against overloads
