Fleischmann 6260034 N passenger car ABm 225, 1./2. Klasse, DB, Ep.IV Product Details
German Federal Railroad type WRügh apron dining car. Era IV version in ocean blue and beige paint scheme.
The Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft put streamlined express train cars into service starting in 1936. Windows and doors were completely flush with the outer wall of the car, the side walls were extended beyond the actual end of the car and pulled down between the bogies. The "apron coaches" thus achieved a significant reduction in air resistance. In 1974, eight apron dining cars were painted ocean blue and beige.
