Fleischmann 7570004 electric locomotive 254 017-7, DR, Ep. IV

With their striking design, the locomotives of the E 94 series were among the best-known electric locomotives in Germany. A sensible design also proved that speeds of 100 km/h could be achieved with a tatz bearing drive. The hourly output of the E 94 was an impressive 3,240 kW, the starting power even 3,900 kW. The DR disrespectfully referred to the electric locomotives remaining after the war as "iron pigs".
