Herpa 614023 Braniff International Boeing 707-320 - Solid Beige (1:144)
Would you like to add a special piece of aviation history to your collection? With the Braniff International Boeing 707-320 in the “Solid Beige” color scheme, you’ll receive an extraordinary model that represents one of the most creative design eras in civil aviation.
In 1967, the American airline Braniff International caused quite a stir when it painted its aircraft in a variety of eye-catching colors. Instead of classic airline liveries, the airline deliberately opted for unusual and bold color schemes. A total of 15 different color schemes were introduced, completely redefining the aircraft’s appearance and significantly increasing their brand recognition.
Historic Design with Unique Color Scheme
This model features the Boeing 707-320 in the “Solid Beige” color scheme. This subtle yet unusual livery is part of the famous Braniff series and stands out distinctly from typical aircraft designs. The result is a model with high recognition value and special collector’s appeal.
The Boeing 707 was one of the first successful jet-powered commercial airliners and played a decisive role in the development of international air travel. Combined with the Braniff color scheme, the result is a model that tells a story—both technically and visually.
Classic aircraft in 1:144 scale
The model is built to a 1:144 scale and offers a well-balanced size that showcases the details beautifully. With a wingspan of 308 mm, the aircraft has an impressive presence and is ideal for display in showcases or collections.
The clean lines of the Boeing 707 and its simple color scheme make this model an elegant addition to any collection of historic aircraft.
A Special Collector’s Item for Aviation Enthusiasts
