Lenz 40341-02 0 E-Lok BR 141 299-8, DB, Ep. IV Product Details

Lenz 40341-02 - Class 141 299-8 electric locomotive, DB, Era IV

The class 141 - formerly E41 - is one of the best-known standard electric locomotives of the German Federal Railroad. It was manufactured over a long period of time and continuously developed further. Particularly striking: from locomotive number E41 121 onwards, the vehicles were fitted with the familiar double lamps ex works. Numerous model railroaders wanted exactly this version - and now it's here! The BR 141 299-8 appears in 0 gauge with a true-to-original double lamp look and is available at short notice.

Technically convincing - model expertise in 0 gauge

True to detail and functionality

The locomotive impresses with its finely detailed design and is equipped with four driven axles, spring buffers and metal wheel sets for smooth running. The length over buffers is 348 mm. The interior and driver's cab are illuminated, supplemented by constant lighting with direction-dependent light change. A separately switchable rear light offers additional flexibility in operation.

Full digital equipment - ready for modern layouts

The locomotive has all the features of modern digital technology: RailCom support, digital/analog recognition, sound module and two remote-controlled pantographs. The couplers can also be remote controlled digitally. This makes this model the perfect addition to digital gauge 0 layouts with high demands.

A Bundesbahn classic - The BR 141 in service

The BR 141 was an indispensable part of the German Federal Railroad's commuter service. Whether push-pull trains, express trains or regional services - its versatility made it one of the most frequently used locomotives in Era IV. The version with double lamps represents an important development step and gives the model a special historical charm.
