Lenz 40341-06 - Class 141 378-0 electric locomotive, DB, Era IV
The class 141, originally designated E41, is one of the defining standard electric locomotives of the German Federal Railroad. Built between the 1950s and 1970s, numerous technical and visual improvements were integrated over the course of time - including the well-known double lamps from locomotive number E41 121 onwards. This characteristic version has been in great demand - now it is here: The BR 141 378-0 is being released as a highly detailed 0-gauge model and will be available shortly.
Large gauge with high model fidelity
Technically convincing and true to the original
The model has four driven axles, finely crafted metal wheelsets and is equipped with spring buffers as well as a detailed interior and driver's cab. The locomotive has a length over buffers of 348 mm. The constantly illuminated lighting with direction-dependent light change and separately switchable rear light ensures realistic operational representations in model railroad use.
Digital technology for modern model railroad operation
Equipped with digital/analog recognition, RailCom support, integrated sound function and two remote-controlled pantographs and couplers, the locomotive meets all the requirements of modern model railway layouts. This means that the class 141 378-0 can be perfectly integrated into digital operating sequences - reliable, versatile and ready for operation.
Bundesbahn classic in Era IV
In Era IV, the class 141 was a familiar sight on many railroad lines - whether in push-pull operation or in classic local traffic. The double lamp version gives the model a particularly authentic character. The 141 378-0 locomotive combines historical accuracy with modern model-making technology - ideal for anyone who wants to recreate the everyday operations of the 1970s on their layout.
