LGB 22042 electric locomotive Ge 4/4 I, RhB, Ep. VI (incl. sound)

At the end of the 1980s, the RhB could not yet do without the Ge 4/4 I locomotives, which were now almost 40 years old. Since it was foreseeable that these would remain in service even longer, the locomotives were modernized. Multiple controls were installed and other technical improvements were made, but most noticeable were the new cabs with the two large windows. Even though some of the locomotives have already been scrapped, some of the locomotives, some of which are over 70 years old, are still in service.
