Märklin 37809 H0 Diesellok BR 220, DBG, Ep. VI, AC-MFX-Sound Product Details
Märklin 37809 H0 Class 220 Diesel Locomotive, DBG, AC MFX Sound - Powerful Appearance in Track Construction Use
The Märklin 37809 class 220 diesel locomotive has a fictitious but impressive design for the Deutsche Bahn Gleisbau (DBG). The bold, golden yellow paint scheme clearly stands out and makes the model a real eye-catcher on your H0 layout. Equipped with the latest digital technology, extensive light and sound functions and a high-quality metal design, this model combines visual impact with powerful performance - perfect for modern Era VI scenarios.
Powerful drive concept for demanding tasks
Inside, a controlled high-performance drive with centrally installed flywheel mass ensures smooth and powerful driving characteristics. Four axles are driven via a cardan shaft, traction tires ensure reliable traction even with heavy loads. The link-guided coupling allows realistic driving behavior even in tight radii.
Digital light and sound diversity
An mfx+ decoder controls numerous operating and sound functions, including the three-light headlights, red marker lights, double A light function and separately switchable headlights on both sides of the locomotive. Driver's cab and engine room lighting can also be switched on digitally - for particularly atmospheric shunting scenes or night operation.
Detailed design with engine driver figure
The locomotive impresses with finely applied metal grab irons on the front and sides as well as an engine driver figure in driver's cab 1. With a length over buffers of approx. 21 cm, the locomotive fits ideally on medium-sized and large layouts. The solid metal design ensures smooth running and a long service life in daily operation.
Reliable operation thanks to buffer storage
An integrated buffer storage unit bridges short sections without power, for example on points or in places with poor power supply - for uninterrupted operation. This means that the BR 220 is not only visually, but also technically in top form.
