The Märklin 38900 is an ultra-modern class 2159 (Stadler Eurodual) dual-power locomotive that is operated by European Loc Pool AG (ELP) and leased to Deutsche Bahn AG. All of the lights are maintenance-free and are warm white/red.

With a length over buffers of 26.4 cm and the buffer height according to NEM, the locomotive is fully compatible with other H0 vehicles. The close couplers with kinematic guidance ensure a realistic transfer of cars. Brake lines, screw couplers and closed rail clearers are also included as separately attachable parts.
