The Märklin 47401 type Xaadkms low-floor car from BLS AG is an unusual vehicle for construction site and special service on your H0 layout. The car is specially designed for transporting road vehicles on railroad construction sites - a real highlight for fans of modern deployment scenarios from the 2025 operating year.
The prototype - technology for track construction
BLS AG uses special wagons such as the Xaadkms to transport road vehicles, construction machinery or trucks directly to their place of use on the track at railroad construction sites. The low-floor wagon with a lowered loading area and special equipment enables safe, fast transportation - even on routes without road access.
Model with numerous functions and a high level of detail
The wagon body is made of metal and ensures high stability. Two buffer beams can be swiveled and removed to allow flexible coupling to different vehicles. A retaining wedge for securing truck models on the loading area is included. Special couplers for low-floor cars and special short couplers for vehicles with standard couplers are included for optimum compatibility - can also be coupled to vehicles with buffer height according to NEM.
Technology & dimensions
With a length over buffers of 23.2 cm, the car is prototypically proportioned. The matching E432950 DC wheel set is available separately for DC systems.
