Märklin 55606 E 60 10 DB Electric Locomotive
Are you looking for an impressive Gauge 1 electric locomotive with extensive digital features and strong ties to museum railroads? The Märklin 55606 E 60 10 DB Electric Locomotive depicts the E 60 10 museum locomotive of the Deutsche Bahn Foundation in its Era VI condition and is ideal for discerning collectors as well as for prototypical layout operation.
The prototype is housed at the Koblenz Lützel Museum and brings classic electric locomotive history to your Gauge 1 layout in a modern museum-style design. The combination of a metal body, extensive digital functions, sound, and a remote-controlled coupler makes this model a special highlight.
Revised Gauge 1 model of the E 60 10
The model features a chassis with a metal main frame and locomotive body. The centrally mounted high-performance motor drives all axles and ensures powerful operation. The integrated mfx digital decoder offers 31 functions and enables operation with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC.
A configurable power reservoir supports reliable operation. In digital mode, the prototypical SBS 10 scissor pantograph with the DBS 54 contact strip can be raised and lowered by motor.
Sound, Lighting, and Remote-Controlled Telex Coupler
The locomotive features extensive sound functions as well as a white three-light headlight with LEDs that alternate with a red tail light. The lighting is digitally controllable, and there is also warm-white LED lighting in the cab.
Opening cab doors, a detailed reproduction of the interior, and a locomotive engineer figure create a particularly realistic impression. Metal handrails, attached signs, windshield wipers, a whistle, a bell, spring buffers, and brake lines round out the high-quality design.
Get the Märklin 55606 E 60 10 DB Electric Locomotive and expand your 1-Gauge collection with a redesigned museum locomotive featuring an mfx decoder, sound, a power reservoir, and a motor-driven pantograph.
