minicar 66004 Bausatz: Multicar M24-0 Räumfahrzeug

A wide range of attachments make the Multicar M24 with double cab universally applicable. The true-to-scale vehicle with sliding blade helps to keep roads clear of snow in winter. The lamp trim rings, the indicators and tail lights, the door handles and the license plates are elaborately printed in multiple colors. Doors that can be displayed open, a dummy engine, prototypically labeled tyres on correctly reproduced rims and rolling ability are the hallmarks of this completely redesigned model vehicle. The axle shafts are made of blackened steel. A printed sheet with alternative license plates is included.

The Multicar 24 was manufactured from 1974 at the VEB Fahrzeugwerk Waltershausen in the GDR. Initially only equipped with a single-seater cab, customer requests led to the further development of the M24-0 with a two-seater cab in 1977. Compared to its predecessor, the M22, it was now equipped with a much more powerful, newly developed, four-cylinder, four-stroke, 45 hp, water-cooled swirl-chamber diesel engine from the Cunewalde engine factory. An equally new torsion-resistant steel profile frame with a standardized hole pattern for the superstructure made a large number of variants possible, e.g. platform truck, three-way tipper, dump truck, high-sided tipper, turntable ladder vehicle, collection container vehicle, box vehicle and many more. The vehicle was built in a quantity of 25,659 units with an export quota of 48 percent until it was replaced by the Multicar 25 until 1978.
