Known colloquially as Silberlinge, the n cars of the Deutsche Bahn or Deutsche Bahn AG were used primarily in local passenger service. The cars got their nickname from the fact that they had an originally unpainted car body made of bright stainless steel with a brushed-on pearl finish. This set from Trix consists of a 2nd class commuter car, a 1/2 class commuter car, and a cab control car. The cab control car has a digitally controllable light change from 3x white to 2x red, which also works in analog operation. In order to be able to optimally stage the accurately reproduced interior, the cars are already prepared for the installation of lighting.
