Many types of track barriers were used to block the tracks on the Saxon lines. The track barrier beam was often used at works sidings, as the Reichsbahn locomotives were not allowed to enter the works premises and the works locomotives were not allowed to run on Reichbahn tracks. The cast iron barrier was used as a track barrier on the Reichsbahn lines.
