The basic circle in H0 gauge with a track radius of 360/437.5 mm, 1 or 2 tracks
Each track helix can be built on the right or left-hand side. The complete kit contains all the necessary stands, track segments and detailed assembly instructions. You will need a base circle for each spiral track. The number of superstructure circles required depends on the height you want to bridge.
What is a spiral track?
A spiral track is a spiral in which a train travels from one level to a lower or higher level. The train therefore travels downwards or upwards in the spiral track. The spiral track has the same gradient at every point, so that even long trains can easily overcome large differences in height.
What variants of LAGGIES spiral tracks are available?
We offer spiral tracks for H0 and N gauges - precisely adapted to the special conditions of the individual railroad brands. All spiral tracks can be installed either left or right-handed.
How can I bridge larger height differences with a track spiral?
A so-called base circle is required for each spiral track. This basic circle includes the entrance to the helix and the exit from the helix. Any number of superstructure circles can be placed on top of this base circle - depending on the height difference the train needs to overcome.
What does the LAGGIES spiral track consist of?
The kit includes precisely milled track segments made of 4 mm thick plywood and cleverly matching stands and brackets.
