Application and processing

The use of Model Water XL is very simple:

1. Prepare the stream or lake bed by painting it with the NOCH Water Base Color Set (item no. 60875) or acrylic paint. The darker the color, the deeper the water will appear.
2. Allow the paint to dry completely.
3. Pour in the model water in one pour approx. 2-3 mm high.
4. Allow the model water to harden. During hardening, it loses approx. 50 % of its volume, resulting in a water level of 1-1.5 mm.

Important: Further infusions are not recommended, as this can lead to clouding of the bottom layer of water.

Coloring and design

The Model Water XL is transparent and adapts to the previously designed coloring of the water bed. By combining it with different background colors, you can individually design the depth and mood of the body of water. The smooth surface of the hardened model water reflects the light and thus creates a realistic water effect.
