The DeLorean model family offers many technical innovations and is therefore completely true to the original. The chassis is made of die-cast zinc with a high level of detail, especially the filigree A-pillars, as well as the C-pillar in which a window is inserted as in the prototype. Speaking of windows: As with the prototype, all windows close at the outer rubber seal (and not at the inner edge). This prevents the impression of a "balcony parapet" on which the driver could rest his forearm. Brass investment casting is used for this model in order to be able to reproduce the filigree structures exactly in metal.
