With the BR 184.1 electric locomotive, PIKO is bringing a real highlight of Era IV to the H0 tracks. The multi-system locomotive known as the "European locomotive" was developed for international traffic in Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg - and is now available as a detailed DC sound model for demanding model railroaders.

Finest detailing - typical PIKO Expert

The elaborately designed roof garden features finely detailed metal pantographs, which are mounted without visible screw connections. Fine engravings and ventilation grilles adorn the sides. A look through the driver's cab door reveals the detailed engine room, which is realistically staged thanks to the integrated lighting. The digitally switchable driver's cab lighting is also part of the equipment.

Sophisticated technology with sound enjoyment

The model is factory-equipped with a PIKO PSD XP sound decoder (PluX22), which reproduces numerous true-to-the-original sounds. The lights change in white/red depending on the direction of travel. Two traction tires provide powerful traction.

Fully compatible for digital direct current systems

With an NEM 658 PluX22 interface, close coupler link and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the locomotive is perfectly designed for digital DC systems. The model is visually rounded off by the sharply contoured printing and high-quality paintwork.
