Piko 21803 H0 electric loco BR 193, Baltic PKP, IC, Ep. VI Product Details
PIKO 21803 - H0 Class 193 Vectron Baltic PKP IC electric locomotive, Era VI
The Piko 21803 brings a very special highlight of modern rail vehicles to the H0 layout: The BR 193 Vectron in the eye-catching Baltic design of the PKP Intercity. This 2026 novelty represents one of the most striking and latest design variants of the successful Vectron platform and impressively reflects the contemporary international long-distance traffic of the Polish state railroad in Era VI.
The model shows the multi-system locomotive in its current state of use in front of high-quality intercity trains in Poland and in international traffic. With its typical Vectron shape, brilliant color scheme and technical possibilities, it is the ideal addition to modern model railway layouts with a European connection.
Digitally prepared & sound-capable
The locomotive is designed as a DC version and has a PluX22 interface in accordance with NEM 658. It is therefore prepared for the uncomplicated retrofitting of a digital and sound decoder - the PIKO sound decoder #56544, for example, is ideally suited. The model is also prepared for the installation of a large-volume loudspeaker for optimum acoustics.
Modern lighting & shunting capability
A direction-dependent light change in white/red ensures a prototypical appearance by day and night. The lighting is implemented with long-life LED technology and guarantees a clear lighting effect. The locomotive is equipped with two traction tires and, thanks to its design, can also master demanding driving maneuvers and longer trains.
Dimensions & compatibility
With a length over buffers of 218 mm, the locomotive is one of the larger models, but is still suitable for all standard H0 track systems with a minimum radius of 358 mm. The coupling is designed in accordance with the NEM standard and is equipped with a close coupling link, which ensures prototypical distances between the locomotive and wagon.
Prototype & area of application
The Vectron locomotives from Siemens are in use throughout Europe and stand for modern, powerful and flexible electric locomotives in freight and passenger transportation. The version shown here in the Baltic design is used by PKP Intercity for high-quality intercity traffic and impresses with its maritime look in shades of blue and gray - a real eye-catcher on the model railway layout.
Scope of delivery
The delivery includes the Piko 21803 electric locomotive BR 193 Baltic PKP IC, operating instructions and accessories for optional detailing. The locomotive is analogue ex works, but can be fully digitized and has sound.
Target group & area of application
The model is aimed at model railroaders with a focus on modern European passenger transport and fans of striking designer paintwork. The combination of Vectron technology, Polish prototype and digital preparation makes this model particularly versatile - from international intercity trains to high-quality passenger train compositions.
