The Piko 21832 is the AC sound version of the modern Vectron electric locomotive in the striking Medway design for Era VI. Medway is one of the leading freight transportation companies on the Iberian Peninsula. With this new 2026 item, PIKO is bringing a powerful model for international freight traffic to Märklin-compatible H0 layouts - including a factory-installed sound decoder.

The original - the Siemens Vectron BR 7193 - is designed for cross-border use. The PIKO version impresses with its high level of detail, modern technology and a powerful design that immediately catches the eye on any layout. An ideal addition for all those who want to realistically depict current private railroad scenarios.

Sound equipment & digital functions

Equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder in accordance with the PluX22 standard, the model offers extensive sound functions: realistic traction motor noises, brake squeal, fan running and signal horn. The large-volume loudspeaker installed at the factory ensures clear and penetrating reproduction - perfect for digital AC operation.

Modern lighting & technical equipment

A direction of travel-dependent light change in white/red with LED technology is fitted as standard. This means that the locomotive always looks prototypical by day and night. The equipment includes two traction tires for the best traction as well as NEM shafts with close coupler link for reliable use in mixed trains.

Dimensions & track compatibility

With a length over buffers of 218 mm, the locomotive is ideal for modern freight trains. The minimum radius is 358 mm, which means that the locomotive can also be used confidently on layouts with tight curves. The technical design allows smooth operation on all standard Märklin systems.
