With the Piko set of 2 Eaos freight wagons from FS in the look of Era VI, PIKO brings a realistic everyday look to the model tracks. The graffiti printing gives the wagons a particularly urban, modern touch - just as they can be found everywhere on European routes today. Ideal for authentic freight trains.

Technology & design - detailed and robust

The two wagons have free-standing handrails, detailed bogies and excellent running characteristics. The open design of the Eaos class is ideal for transporting scrap, ballast, wood or old material. Each car in the set is decorated with individually coordinated graffiti.

Prototype: FS Eaos wagon with signs of use

The Eaos type is in use throughout Europe in various versions. The FS (Ferrovie dello Stato) has been using these cars for decades for various types of freight. Especially nowadays, graffiti is an everyday part of the appearance of these vehicles - which PIKO has skillfully implemented in the model with this edition.

Model operation & compatibility

Both cars are suitable for DC systems with a minimum radius of 358 mm. Thanks to the NEM shaft with close coupler link, they are ready for operation in modern freight train formations and can also be used on Märklin layouts using exchange wheel sets for AC (item no. 56061).
