The Piko set of 2 Eaos freight cars from PKP-Cargo brings two classic representatives of the open bulk goods traffic of Era V to your H0 layout. The four-axle wagons were designed for heavy, loose loads such as scrap, ballast or wood and are still in use throughout Europe today - here in an authentic version of the Polish state railroad PKP.

Detailing & equipment - robust and realistic

Both models have detailed bogies, free-standing handrails and excellent rolling characteristics. Thanks to the NEM shaft with close coupler link, they are safe to operate and can be easily combined with other freight cars - perfect for authentic shunting, transfer or through trains.

Prototype: PKP Eaos wagons - sturdy all-rounders

The Eaos freight wagons are the backbone of many Eastern European freight services. They were purchased in large numbers for PKP-Cargo and were used in numerous trains on Polish, Czech, Slovakian and German tracks. The Era V variant depicted here shows the classic design of the 1990s.

Compatibility & model railroad operation

Suitable for H0 DC systems with a minimum radius of 358 mm. Thanks to AC exchange wheel sets (item no. 56061), the cars can also be used on Märklin layouts.
