Piko 47348 diesel locomotive BR 219, DB AG, Ep. V

Print variant of the class 219 of the DB AG in Era V. The class 119 locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn were adopted by DB AG as class 219. The PIKO TT model of the class 119 was derived, like its prototype, from the clear, robust and functionally reliable design of the V 180 from PIKO. Since this was done with design consistency and high manufacturing quality, the TT model impresses with balanced running and considerable tractive effort. The locomotive is driven by an engine with two precisely balanced flywheels. The locomotive is driven on four axles. The shape and color design of the locomotive, which is also called a "submarine" because of its portholes, is in no way inferior to its precision engineering. The locomotive has close coupling kinematics, white / red lighting that changes with the direction of travel and a PluX16 digital interface. A sound retrofit is prepared.
