- Red/white light change with energy-saving LED technology
- Interior lighting in the driver's cab

Historical background
The BR 62 was created at the end of the 1920s as one of the few tender locomotives for fast passenger services. Originally designed for the DRG, only 15 units were built - some of which later became part of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR) fleet, where they were in service until the 1970s. The locomotives were popular with staff and passengers alike due to their speed, performance and compact design.
Compatibility & expansion options
The locomotive is compatible with all H0 track systems in the 2L-DC range. Thanks to the PluX22 interface, it can be easily digitized and retrofitted with a sound decoder. It is particularly suitable for use in front of light DR express and passenger trains in Era IV.
