Historical background
The class 91.3 (ex T 9.3) was one of the most widely used tank locomotives in Germany. It was used in freight and passenger train service as well as in shunting operations and was a familiar sight on main and branch lines in Era II. The DRG took over many of these locomotives and used them in many directorates - a real workhorse of the 1920s and 30s.
Compatibility & expansion options
The locomotive is fully compatible with Märklin track systems (3L-AC) and is ideal for use with Era II trains. Thanks to modern digital technology, it can be easily integrated into digital control systems and offers acoustic and visual model railroad enjoyment.
