Piko 51315 electric locomotive BR 151, DB, Ep. IV (digital, without sound) AC current/AC

With the replica of the class 151 heavy freight locomotive, PIKO offers a typical locomotive of the German Federal Railroad in Era IV. The model has an exact execution of the lamps, windows, buffers, body shape, engine room view, roof equipment etc. and also impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, the extremely filigree pantographs, digitally switchable driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as LED tail lights that change with the direction of travel. The powerful five-pole PIKO motor with its large, precisely dimensioned flywheel masses gives the model excellent driving characteristics. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability is installed ex works, and the locomotive is also prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
