Molded version of the DB class 117 as an E 17 in Era III.
The model reproduces the striking shapes of the prototype true to scale. The locomotive is also impressive in its details, with delicate handrails and roof lines as well as free-standing sandboxes and springs. The specific features of the prototype were taken into account when creating the model, including the front design and the three-part front windows. Technically, the PIKO model has its finger on the pulse of the times and has silky-smooth running characteristics, good tractive power and a light change fitted as standard. Like the lighting in the driver's cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology. The analog version can be digitally retrofitted in no time at all thanks to the PluX22 interface.
