Piko 51588 electric locomotive BR 187 EP Cargo, Ep. VI

The PIKO class 187 electric locomotive of the EP Cargo has a true to original paint scheme and authentic printing. The model is equipped with a direction-dependent white-red light change. Two traction tires provide excellent running characteristics. This locomotive can be retrofitted with a sound decoder for additional functions, such as digitally switchable cab lighting, sound, and much more.

The class 187, the first representative of Bombardier's third Traxx series, is a state-of-the-art electric bogie locomotive for systems with 15 kV and 16.7 Hz as well as 25 kV 50 Hz alternating current. The locomotive was developed using design experience with the U.S. ALP-45DP hybrid locomotive. The private railroad company EP Cargo uses the BR 187 in freight service.
