Piko 51724 electric locomotive BR 112, DR, Ep. V

Novelty 2023: Print version of the DR class 112 in Era V. The PIKO model is characterized by the successful mold construction without disturbing mold parting edges and the harmonious implementation of all relevant details of its prototype. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The driver's cab lighting and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model with a die-cast zinc frame has a five-pole motor with precisely balanced flywheels for excellent running characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. Retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the clearly designed circuit board with PluX22 interface and the model comes with attachable dummy brake hoses.
