Piko 52338 H0 AC-Sound Diesel Locomotive BR 213, DB AG, Ep. V - The powerful steep line locomotive for your AC layout
The Piko H0 AC sound diesel locomotive BR 213 from DB AG brings the powerful version of the proven V 100 series to your layout as an AC model. The class 213 was developed for service on steep and main lines and in Era V wore the striking oriental red livery of the Deutsche Bahn AG. With a factory-installed sound decoder and mfx® function, the model is immediately ready for digital operation on Märklin systems.
Detailed, digital & immediately ready for use
The model impresses with free-standing handlebars and handrails, finely etched fan grilles and a highly detailed cooling system with a rotating fan wheel. The driver's cab lighting is digitally switchable (PluX22) and, together with the direction of travel-dependent light change in white/red, ensures harmonious lighting conditions. The integrated PIKO TrainSound® decoder provides a convincing sound experience straight from the factory - mfx®-capable for full compatibility with Märklin digital control centers.
Class 213 - ready for any eventuality
The class 213 locomotives were more powerful than the class 211 and were primarily used where larger train loads or gradients had to be mastered. They performed reliably in construction and freight traffic as well as in regional train services - compact, maneuverable and powerful.
