Piko 52522 diesel locomotive BR 245, DB AG, Ep. VI

Print variant of the DB AG class 245 in Era VI in the design of NAH.SH. In the model of the class 245, PIKO takes into account all of the changes in the number and design of the roof and side vents on the production locomotives compared to the prototype vehicles and reproduces them true to the original. The model impresses with its exact paint scheme and printing, etched metal ventilation grilles, sharply engraved prototypical bogies, and many mounted free-standing parts, such as the front grab irons. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and engine with two large, precisely balanced flywheels provide excellent handling characteristics and high tractive forces. The cab lights and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has a tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface and is prepared for an uncomplicated retrofit with sound decoder and large speaker.
