Would you like to equip your locomotive with the latest digital technology and powerful sound? The Piko 56569 SmartDecoder XP 5.1 S offers a powerful combination of precise motor control, extensive sound options and easy installation - ideal for demanding model railroaders.
The decoder is designed for vehicles with a PluX22 interface and is supplied with a loudspeaker. This means that your locomotive can be quickly and easily equipped with realistic sounds and extended digital functions.
Compatible with many digital systems
The SmartDecoder XP supports all common data formats, including DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola and basic mfx® capability. This means it is compatible with many digital control centers and can be flexibly integrated into existing systems.
Thanks to Plug & Play, the digital control center automatically recognizes the decoder, making registration quick and easy.
Powerful motor control and flexible function assignment
The auto-adaptive motor control ensures particularly smooth running characteristics and precise speed control. Functions up to F68 can be individually assigned via the extended function mapping.
A decoder-internal bidirectional coupling also enables sound-dependent control of the motor and individual function outputs, resulting in particularly realistic operating sequences.
Realistic sound experiences
The sound decoder offers impressive sound options via eight channels with a total duration of up to eight minutes. This allows numerous operating noises to be reproduced in great detail.
The supplied loudspeaker ensures clear and powerful sound reproduction, so that your locomotive also impresses acoustically on the system.
Innovative technology for reliable operation
Innovative power management ensures trouble-free travel and stable operation. At the same time, the temperature distribution in the decoder has been optimized, which contributes to a longer service life.
The decoder also supports all common braking distance modes as well as ABC slow travel and the ABC automatic shuttle train function.
Updateable and versatile
The PIKO SmartDecoder XP is updateable and can be updated via the PSP 56415 programming device or the PSCwlan 55821. This means that your decoder is always technically up to date.
The decoder replaces the earlier 56469 sound decoder and offers a modern further development with extended functions.
