The PIKO 56610 SmartDecoder S G7.1 / BR 55 is a modern, 8-pole digital decoder with integrated loudspeaker, specially designed for the PIKO G7.1 and BR 55 locomotives. The latest generation of PIKO SmartDecoders (PSD) offers impressive digital and sound functions for DC and AC systems with all common control systems.
Multi-format capable & Plug & Play
The decoder supports DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola® and basic mfx® functionality. Thanks to Plug & Play, it can be quickly and easily connected to compatible digital command stations - ideal for uncomplicated decoder changes or conversion to digital operation.
Impressive sound - over 8 channels
The decoder offers special soundscapes via 8 sound channels with a total duration of up to 8 minutes. The included loudspeaker is optimally tuned to the BR 55 and ensures a powerful, detailed reproduction - including synchronized steam blow, whistle and many additional sounds.
Technology for trouble-free continuous operation
The auto-adaptive motor control adapts optimally to the vehicle and ensures smooth starting and precise speed. Thanks to integrated power management, your locomotive will also run safely over powerless sections. Improved temperature distribution noticeably increases the service life of the decoder.
Functionally expandable & updatable
The extended function mapping extends up to F68, so that even extensive function models are supported without any problems. The decoder can be updated via PIKO PSP 56415 or PSCwlan 55821 so that future improvements can be easily transferred.
