PIKO 58420 H0 Flat car 401Zb, PKP-PLK, Era VI
The PIKO 58420 is a finely detailed replica of a modern type 401Zb flat wagon of the Polish infrastructure company PKP-PLK in Era VI. With precisely engraved wagon details, filigree bogies and excellent rolling characteristics, this wagon offers the highest model quality for realistic operation in H0 scale.
Prototype: Modern material transport in track construction
Flat wagons such as the type 401Zb are used by PKP-PLK in particular for the transportation of long rails, track components or other large-sized materials in maintenance and expansion traffic. Their simple but robust design makes them universally applicable. The wagon shown here represents the current operating condition and shows typical features of modern European rail infrastructure vehicles.
Model technology and detailing
The model has a length over buffers of 141 mm and is designed for direct current operation. It is equipped with an NEM shaft with close coupler link, which makes a realistic vehicle connection possible. The detailed bogies and the fine design of the loading area and underframe components make this car a real eye-catcher in a modern freight train set.
