With the newly designed models of the legendary VT 98/VS 98 rail bus of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, PIKO is offering another vehicle with many highlights that is perfectly adapted for use on model railroad main and branch lines. This is the first time that models of vehicles from the early construction series are being offered in large series. The side cars and boxcars can be coupled together using current-conducting close coupler kinematics. No additional function decoders are necessary. All light functions can be controlled with a PluX22 decoder in the VT.
