The PIKO 59796 diesel locomotive T669.0 is an impressive replica of the heavy six-axle shunting locomotive of the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD). This model of Era IV in H0 scale combines technical precision with prototypical design and impresses with its harmonious paintwork, finely mounted railings and an authentic sound experience thanks to the factory-installed PIKO sound decoder.
Prototype: T669.0 - Heavy shunting locomotive from Prague
The T669.0 is based on a development of the locomotive factory ČKD Prague, which was originally designed for export orders to Albania and the Soviet Union. After successful tests with the prototypes of the ČME and T669.0 series, the machine quickly went into series production. Due to its high tractive power and robust design, it quickly became an indispensable part of the large marshalling yards throughout the USSR and Czechoslovakia.

The model has a PluX22 digital decoder with full sound equipment. The powerful drive with two traction tires ensures high tractive power. The direction of travel-dependent light change in white/red and the cleanly applied railings complete the realistic representation. Thanks to the NEM shaft with close coupler link, the locomotive can be easily integrated into any H0 layout.
