Piko 59889 diesel locomotive Vectron "Stern Hafferl", Ep. VI (digital, no sound) AC

With the H0 model of the electric and diesel locomotive Vectron 193 and 247, PIKO fulfills the current wishes of the growing number of PIKO fans who, both as layout operators and collectors, have opted for models based on the latest railroad technology. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision manufactured model that has numerous extras on the basis of a solid die-cast zinc frame and is equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven via all four axles, is boosted by two traction tires that are positioned diagonally to each other on the inside axles of both bogies. The headlights and tail lights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white color changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disk profiles. The different lengths of the electric and diesel versions have also been taken into account in the model.
